Here's a breif biography of the band.
2 Colour Concept was formed in 2005 by Karl, he had already been touring with his fathers showband, Poison Ivy, for many years and as a consequence had a fair amount of experience. Having got the song writing bug Karl proceeded to seek out likely band members. This he did and got it right first time, enlisting good friends, Tom on bass, and Rob on drums.
Over the next 2 years the band spent their time working on their debut album, entitled Music Is My Medicine. What with a handful of live gigs for 2CC, various versions of the songs being recorded, plus Karl still touring as a full time musician, things were hectic to say the least.
In January of 2007 the band released their first single, Another Rainy Day. Performing live acoustic sessions at radio stations across the country and attending interviews the boys started to make a name for themselves.
The album is full of great songs with strong melodies that really capture the emotion of the lyrics whilst being supported by a solid 'guitar, bass, drums' style.
Currently the band are working on new material for their second album.
